Stardate 60421.90 - Casino Night

So my Firm had a Casino Night for our "group" (I won't even get into the actual nomenclature) Friday night, and I had a blast! I played craps for about 3 hours, and at one time was up more than $5,000 (they gave you $2,000 fake money to start). See those orange chips in my stack? They are $2,500 each. See the blue? They are $500 each. See the black? They are $100 each. I am sitting on quite a pile of money at this point in the game.

But as all good things must come to an end, I started betting bigger and bigger as it got closer to time to leave, and finally I went all in. And won. So I went all in again. And won again. And finally went all in a third time and lost it all. But it was a lot of fun - mainly because it was not real money.

Turns out it was a good thing I didn't try to fly back to NYC Friday night after the Casino Night. Horrific thunderstorms moved in, and apparently a lot of people got bumped off of flights and re-scheduled for this morning. I was on the 0830 and it was packed! Glad I had a ticket and wasn't trying to re-schedule from last night!

When I got back to NYC a nice, thick blanket of fog was everywhere. I took this from the Taxi on the FDR.

So it is my last day before Cheryl and Loren return home (actually, before I pick them up at the airport), and with the bad weather and such it is a perfect day to watch some movies. I'll post reviews later tonight or tomorrow.
