Today Loren took her first ride on the Roosevelt Island Tramway over to Roosevelt Island for a play date. Of course, play dates at this age normally consist of one parent from each family running after his or her respective child while the other two adults chat. This play date was with the child of some co-workers of Cheryl's who live on Roosevelt Island, so we met over there at a playground. Afterwards, we were invited for a nice lunch and had a great time hanging out in their neat apartment with a great view of the East River.
