Work is slowing down.
Grey skies are a portent of
Christmas almost here.
My penance is now
One last teleconference.
Then I'm free at last.
Cookies in the 'fridge,
the smell of pine in my nose.
Tasting cold crisp air.
Time with family.
Presents sit under the tree,
waiting Christmas Day.
Enjoy the time off,
