It was quite hot in the apartment today (the colder it is outside the more the heat runs in the apartment and the hotter it is inside), so we took Loren out to the playground to get some fresh air and cool down (it was in the upper thirties by this time, although it was around 20 this morning). We decided to let her walk to the playground, since it is just a block away (really less than a block if we exit from the back of our building).
We didn't stay out too long, but Loren really enjoyed herself! On the way home we stopped by the Library and checked out a couple of books for some variety in Loren's reading.
Just ignore how thin my hair is!

We had frost on the ground until after ten this morning, but then it started warming up considerably as the day went on.
AAAHHHHH!!! She is so cute!!! and she looks so grown up!!
