Got an e-mail from my friend Ellie today. She and I worked together at Virginia Tech in the Honor System Office before she became Panhellenic President and had to leave the Honor System organization due to time commitments. Her husband has started a blog, so I've added them to my list of blogs off to the right.
Now for a technical issue:
I use Newsgator (an Outlook plug-in, so to speak) to receive RSS feeds so I can keep up with everyone's blogs. Recently, I've noticed that Newsgator seems to be really slow in updating feeds, and for some blogs it seems to have just stopped. Anyone else using Newsgator and having these problems?

Apparently I had an f'd up entry, and it was causing a lot of issues with RSS readers, so I deleted the entry (thanks to James for pointing it out). That may have also been giving my reader fits. We'll see if the issue is resolved.
I use bloglines and it works pretty well.
Btw, I like the new simplied reporting location (sans the "Report filed from").
Bloglines. Its everywhere I want to be...
Someone fill me in on how bloglines works. I'm getting tired of just randomly checking pages to see if they've been refreshed.
I haven't used Bloglines, but I think you create an account and then tell them what feeds to monitor and you get the data presented in a single web page when they update.
But I haven't used it, so I'm not sure.
Curt's description is about right. The have a simple to use folder/directory format (so you could set up a folder called "Blogs of Excellence" and put in mine and Curt's). It's very quick to update -- I did an update to my blog last night and bloglines had registered it within 15 minutes.
