Stardate 60037.34 - Loren's First Subway Ride
We took Loren down to 14th Street - Union Square today on the 6 train to the Babies-R-Us store so we could pick up a few things. This was her first subway ride. Then we stopped by Jackson Hole for burgers on the way back as Cheryl had been craving a hamburger and fries. We snapped all these pictures with my camera phone, and the lighting is pretty bad in most of them, but the one immediately below is particularly funny. In the subway, Loren is apparently ready if anyone tries to accost her for money or anything else. Look which finger she is displaying.

I recall Catherine doing something similar once. :-)
Are they good burgers?
They were alright. Cheryl's was underdone (she ordered meduim and it was medium-rare) and the fries were also underdone. Mad River is much better, but it is up by the Met so we didn't go there...but we should have. The Jackson Hole that is near us is also in the basement of a brownstone and is very small, cramped, and harshly lit.
But Cheryl really wanted a burger.
yeah you can't deny a burger craving.
well if you ever need to vent about food, let me know and i'll add you to the salemfood team.
I think my favorite part of this posting is that in the middle of winter, Curt is wearing short sleeves. Molten core.
