Stardate 60495.66 - Trip Down Memory Lane

Everyone seems to be digging out old college and post-college pictures to share (thanks, John and Cheryl, for posting yours on your blogs). Since not enough of these pictures had me in them (and I'm pretty partial to all things Curt), I found 3 old photos stuck in frames in a drawer that I decided to post. Most of my photo albums are in my Mom's basement in Virginia right now (there is just not that much storage space in a Manhattan apartment), but here are three that I did seem to have.

This one was taken in 1995 on Roosevelt Island in Washington, DC.

This one (what in the hell were we doing?) was taken in James' apartment in Sterling, VA so it had to be in the 1990-1992 range.

This one was taken at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD. This may have been the last time I saw Jenny, before this past Saturday. I'm not sure of the date.

And finally, by popular demand, it is the disembodied head picture!!

Wow. James' head really is just floating there, isn't it? And look how much hair I have! And the bad glasses! And that awful thing on my lip! What the HELL was wrong with me?!?!?!?!

I don't know, I think my glasses were at least as big as the ones you were wearing.

As for the picture of you and me, I believe (and I could be wrong, and hope truthfully that I am), that we are, as the kids would say, "Walking like Egyptians".

Ginger already picked out some pics for us to post. We're still debating about whether one of them goes up or not though. Maybe tonight or tomorrow.

What I like about the floating head picture is that Keith has color-coordinated with the girls in the photo (I guess pink was in that year). You all have inspired me to work on my own blog, so look for that with some photos in the next year or so..!

I'm very fond of that Inner Harbor photo! It captures one of MANY silly excursions.

James - I hope we are not walking like an egyptian. If we are, I have one word - DORKS!! And is the picture too embarassing to post, or what?

Kellie - You can blog about what it is like to be pregnant with twins. Oh, that's right. You'll be far to busy to post! ;-)

Curt, I have the rest of those photos from the inner harbor...it was early 94 as I recall, but I can check on that....I love seeing all these pictures...what fun times we've had and continue to have!!!

Yes, the issue is one of them is too embarassing. I'm close to just putting it out there and not caring though.

The picture of you and James dancing is not "Walking like Egyptians." I think you were inspired by the Genesis concert that year. If I could only remember the actual song ........

Yea, once Ginger mentioned that I remembered. It's definitely something Genesis related. I don't know the song either. Maybe "I Can't Dance"? Check the album cover here for "The Way We Walk" and you can see where we got it from.
